Salts is a small friendly tennis club with a wide variety of members playing social and competitive tennis. We cater for all standards from beginner to good club level, with ladies, men’s, mixed and junior teams competing in the Bradford, Wharfedale and Yorkshire leagues.

Common Questions

Can I have an informal visit? Of course, you are welcome to come down and take a look at the facilities at any time and have a hit on the courts. Adult coaching is on Wednesday evenings and all are welcome to come join in. Or if you'd like to arrange a visit please contact us. There are no obligations to join if it's not for you. Do I have to pay hourly court fees if I'm a member? No, if you're a paying member there are no hourly court fees. However tokens are required for the floodlights should they be required. They can be purchased from Jim Dyer, more info is on the floodlight tennis page.
I haven't played before, can I still join? Yes, we welcome players of all ages and all abilities, it doesn't matter if you're a seasoned pro or have never picked up a racquet. The club has a diverse range of members and we pride ourselves in providing ‘affordable coaching for all’. What variants of Tennis do you play? We run a number of men's, ladies and mixed doubles team in the Bradford, Wharfedale and Yorkshire leagues. There's also a competitive singles ladder, social tennis and various club events throughout the year. Our junior setup is also thriving with coaching on offer several nights a week.
